Today I got access to the new Hotmail interface. Pretty, but lacks the usual icons. I feel lost. The icons were a great help on finding what I needed. Now I just have to read the labels… I’m not feeling as a happy user right now…

I don’t see why do you get lost… do you feel the same on GMail? I’ts much cleaner now, and thoos icons trully sucks
I agree 100% with your take Bruno. The new look Hotmail is slick, but not very user friendly. I don’t want to READ where my Reply button is, I want to FIND it. Now, the icons they had before weren’t sexy, so I don’t want them back, but even some flat pictograms would be better than nothing. Oh, and the new themes, instead of colors, is ridiculous. This isn’t myspace for crying out loud.
Bruno, you’ve got a point… I use Gmail and don’t feel it. Don’t know why. Maybe I am a resistant to change
