A new Microsoft marketing wave has started with the motto “Windows Without Walls” as I read int Windows Vista Blog. Pretty nice concept and nice wallpaper. But from a developer perspective the image is pretty funny. Take a look at the image bellow.
It seems that Windows is about getting some construction tools and hack our house around and using a hammer to get a hole where you need a hole. 
So, it’s essentially a quick, ugly hack, where you trade security and stability for the immediate satisfaction of having a window.
And ultimately, a decision to regret.
I’d say it’s near perfection as an analogy.
