Thomas' solution did not work immediately. I had to fidlle around with PATH (hadn't done that for a long time), and remove the whole portion: "Dswing.defaultlaf=com.sun.java.swing.plaf.windows.WindowsLookAndFeel"

Whatever it does, I don't (want to) know, but without it, the language change worked.

So try:
start javaw -Duser.language=en -Xms128m -Xmx768m -jar openproj.jar in a .cmd file, and see if it works with you,

Cheers,
Philipp

What bothers me about this i-nigma reader is that the first time I used it read the code pretty easily, but then proceeded to send that link to a redirect page at i-nigma.com. That raises some privacy concerns with me.

Forgot to mention: that was quoted from here.

Also, I'm totally going to use this, with my own server, of course.
Even thought my trust for the guys at mozzilla is greater than that of the backstabbers at Microsoft by at least five orders of magnitude.

That is to say, I wouldn't store anything at MS without passing it through a bit of AES-256 first.

Thanks for bringing this into my attention, by the way.

So, deny the possibility of storing authentication on "the cloud", even though that cloud can be your own personal server*, but accede to give your personal preference data on a platter to a service that is inherently centralized and completely dependent on a single commercial entity.

Consistent.

*
    What is Weave Sync?
Weave Sync is the first component of the Weave project to be available for testing. It is an add-on and a server which allows you to synchronize browser-related personal information (such as bookmarks, history, saved passwords, open tabs) to a server and all your devices. You can use Mozilla's server, or you can set up your own as well (see here for instructions)

File name extensions recognition is outdated, dangerous and unreliable.

Listening to the mime type is the only possible good reaction from a browser, unless it's of course modified by the user.

Also, impaired users must LOVE this site, if it's as bad as I imagine.

So, it's essentially a quick, ugly hack, where you trade security and stability for the immediate satisfaction of having a window.
And ultimately, a decision to regret.

I'd say it's near perfection as an analogy.

Useless?

I believe you are confusing utility with complexity.

For example, the ms-dvr format, despite its added complexity, is of little to no utility.

This plugin*, while simple, can prevent several damage to social connections, personal image, and ultimately, your place in society.

*did we really forget the meaning of "plugin", versus internal optional features?

Unless you pervert the threshold of what is Art so much, as to have the random arrangement of used glasses on my desk be recognized as such.

And please, stop beating the deceased equine that is Windows Mobile.

It's dying.

Nothing will bring it back.

And as a software developer, you should be happy.

@Bruno
Maybe it has something to do with GMail having a truly optimized page style, instead of, you know, being yet another useless gimmick to make Old Stuff Look New And Exciting, and all Web 2-point-Ohs while not giving a rat's ass about real usability impact.

It's the good old difference between development lead by technology versus development lead by marketing.

You're not brainwashed end users, are you?
You should know this stuff.
